Erdogan co-founded Biodiscovery LLC (doing business as Daicel Arbor Biosciences) in 2006 with Dr. Jean Marie Rouillard based on research done in his laboratories at the University of Michigan, and served as the managing partner until acquisition by Chiral Technologies, Inc. After working for 41 years as a professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Michigan, he is now serving at Daicel Arbor Biosciences full time as Director of Operations. His research interests include DNA synthesis, microfluidic systems for single cell studies, and sustainable energy solutions. He has a BSE degree from Roberts College in Turkey and a Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from California Institute of Technology.
